club and center offers outstanding facilities,
including a full weight room, olympic
size pool, racquetball court, steamroom,
showers, locker rooms, and refreshment
bar. Certified instructors offer a full
range of group exercise classes, from
step aerobics, spinning classes, and
kick boxing to yoga flow and pilates;
and a talented corps of certified personal

Paintings, costumes, furnishings, mechanical
and musical instruments, and other relics
of America’s Gilded Age offer a
glimpse into 19th century daily life.
The Lightner collection includes beautiful
examples of cut glass, Victorian art
glass, and the stained glass work of
Louis Comfort Tiffany. Open daily from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Music demonstrations
offered twice daily at 11 a.m. and 2
p.m. The Museum Store offers an eclectic
collection of books, jewelry, ornaments,
notecards, reproduction antiques, children’s
games, and gifts.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this extraordinary house museum was built in 1883 as a 1/10 scale replica of a portion of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. Notable for its poured concrete and coquina stone construction and Moorish horseshoe arches, the interior houses an astounding collection of art, antiques, and furnishings, including Oriental rugs, paintings, intricately carved furniture, hand-pierced brass lamps, and a 2,400-year-old Egyptian “Sacred Cat Rug.” State-of-the art audio tours available in English and Spanish. Open Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (4:30 p.m. is the last time to start a tour); Sun. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free onsite parking. Available evenings for wedding ceremonies and private parties.
